Set of three serving cutlery. Silver. ESPUÑES, Matilde. Spain, towards the beginning of the 20th century. With contrast markings. Set of three serving cutlery made of silver in its color, consisting of a fork and serving shovel and a fish knife, decorated with engraved plant elements, accompanied in two pieces by a central composition with wavy shapes and plant and scroll elements (in the case of the shovel, openwork, this wavy shape is worked reminiscent of a dragon). One of the pieces features initials, and all three have sterling and hallmark marks. Matilde Espuñes y Bagués, daughter of Luis Espuñes, trained with her father, later establishing herself on her own (M. ESPUÑES brand, active 1909-1950) and achieving notable success. Weight: 0.32kg.
