Reference: Z6581
Three rectangular panels with reliefs in carved wood. 16th century. All three feature figurative decorative motifs arranged within rectangles defined by plain moldings: the longest has three (the side ones show two seated children flanking a shield and holding knotted cloths, while the central one depicts Saint Matthew and Saint John writing, identifiable by their Tetramorph symbols); the shorter ones show two figures from the Church (Fathers, Prophets). Stylistically, they reflect the characteristics of Renaissance art and would have formed part of the drawers of some piece of furniture.
