Gallé style vase. Glass. 20th century. A glass vase in shades of yellow, orange, and brown, decorated with cameo-style palm trees and pyramids. It is clearly inspired by the works of Émile Gallé (Nancy, 1846–1904), an artist considered one of the leading figures of French Art Nouveau and renowned for his glasswork (especially what is commonly called "cameo glass").

Fernandine bedside table bracket. Bronze, wood. Spain, time of Ferdinand VII, circa 1814-1833. A side table designed to be placed against a wall and supported by a single wooden leg, with a straight top, curved front, and decorations strongly influenced by Neoclassicism and the French Empire style (front appliqués, leg shape, composition). In Spain, this style is known as the Fernandine Style, which can be found in the decorative arts during the reign of Ferdinand VII (1814-1833), following the Empire Style and just before the Isabelline Style, and considered by some experts to be equivalent to the French Restoration and the English Regency styles.

“Bust of a lady”. Metal The bust of the young woman rests on a square pedestal of the same material and color, the transition between the two elements softened by her clothing. While the anatomy and subject matter may recall 19th-century Neoclassical examples, other details (the treatment of the hair, etc.) are closer to 20th-century artistic styles (Modernism, etc.), thus demonstrating a clear blend of influences.

Bronze sculpture. “Bull”. Lost-wax casting. Marble base. The figure of the animal, facing forward, rises from the oval base. These small bronze sculptures were highly valued in the 19th century, especially in France. From that time onward, animal sculpture (whether wild or domestic) was considered one of the main subjects for this medium. Weight: 10.5 kg

Louis XV style armchair frame in beech wood. The four cabriole legs feature carvings of vegetal motifs and a line extending along the waist, decorated with the same type of elements. The recessed arms curve forward. The backrest, in the "à la reine" style, is finished with a small crest. The curved lines that characterize both the profile of the piece and its decoration on the arms, backrest, and waist are characteristic of the style known in France as Louis XV (Rococo). Several units available.

Bronze sculpture. “Girl with goat”. Inspired by models by Affortunato Gory (1895-1925). Lost-wax casting. Marble base. The young woman sits with her legs stretched out in front of her, reaching up to grasp the goat's horns, which appear poised to fight. It is based on the work "The Girl and the Goat" by Affortunato Gory, an Italian sculptor trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence under Augusto Rivalta, who moved to Paris at the beginning of the 20th century to complete his training with Antoine Basset. His work is characterized by the frequent use of young women, children, and the occasional historical figure, and by the combination of marble with bronze and ivory in some of his pieces.

Holy water vessel. Bronze. 18th century. A metal container with a circular base, a bell-shaped body, and exterior decoration with moldings and smooth bands. It features a metal handle with curved lines of varying widths. Stylistically, it displays the purity of line typical of Neoclassical works, even though this type of piece is quite old.

Cigarette case. Silver and textile. W & F Rabone. Birmingham, England, 1916. With contrast marks, initials and wear/wear. Silver cigarette case in its natural color with a silver-gilt interior and two textile straps. It has hallmarks inside and two initials engraved on the outside. Based on these hallmarks, it is considered an English work, from Birmingham, made in 1916 by W & F Rabone (Walter Hayes Rabone & Frank Rabone), registered in October 1911 and dissolving the partnership in April 1918. Total weight: 101 grams.

Pair of enameled porcelain figurines. “Pair of musical monkeys”. Inspired by models from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France). One of the animals appears dressed as a woman, singing with a book in one hand and playing a cello in the other. These types of figures were highly prized in Europe from the late 18th century onward for their exoticism, and were produced by all the major porcelain factories. This particular piece can be linked to creations of the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France).

Mirror. Silver-plated metal, glass. Circa 1900. A rectangular mirror with a pointed top, decorated with a frame featuring an inner band of pearls and smooth areas adorned with rectangular elements containing plant motifs. The wider base features a kneeling lady within a garland of flowers that extends to the sides of the piece in abundant bouquets. The curved lines and the prominence of the female figure are two details that link the mirror to Art Nouveau.

The zither is a plucked string instrument of varying sizes and string types, introduced to Venezuela by several manufacturers as a musical learning instrument. Wall-mounted coat rack made of carved beech wood with metal elements, decorated with turned "columns" and carvings of architectural, plant, and animal motifs, as well as a tondo with the profile of a gentleman, all inspired by the Renaissance. The upper section features hooks for coats, jackets, etc., and, towards the middle of the piece, two turned metal rods are positioned for holding walking sticks or umbrellas.

An oval tray lacquered in dark red with a raised rim and decorative elements in various shades, most notably gold, forming flowers, stems, and butterflies. Venus and Mercury, relief. Cast alabaster. 20th century, inspired by the model of Spranger, Bartholomäus (1546-1611). A panel with a figurative relief and a thin frame made of polychrome marble dust depicting a mythological subject. Venus, standing, is accompanied by a child and her son Cupid. To the left is Mercury, wearing his customary headdress and holding the caduceus. The piece is inspired by a painting by Bartholomäus Spranger from around 1585, now in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. Weight: 5 kg.
