Bronze spiral-shaped lamp. Without shade. A marble base highlights the spiral that forms the body of the lamp, created using strong lines, using a bronze bar with a line in the middle of its profile, breaking up that area to add more movement to the work. The edges have been highlighted, but without leaving them completely alive, avoiding an overly aggressive sensation in both the metal and the stone parts, but maintaining and highlighting the movement of the spiral. Weight: 11 kg.

“Dancer with bells”. Lost wax cast bronze. On a circular base stands the figure of the young woman, dressed in a short skirt and with bells, holding a torch high and a tambourine at her waist. This type of small sculpture with a circus or festive theme and a certain oriental air was very common in Europe throughout the 19th century, with the French ones being particularly important, used as models throughout the continent for their quality and originality.

Pair of candlesticks. “Man and woman”. Lost wax casting. Marble base. These anthropomorphic candlesticks are worth highlighting for a series of details. Both in a similar posture and attire, the young woman is highlighted in height thanks to a classicist-inspired dolphin on which she rests her foot, and the man adopts a posture that is not characteristic of the more traditional male figures, but of the female ones. Although this work can be linked to the nineteenth-century French tradition of bronze figures, these details bring the works closer to more contemporary artistic approaches.

Gallé style vase. Glass. 20th century. Glass vase in yellow, orange and brown tones decorated with a cameo-like decoration of palm trees and pyramids. It is clearly inspired by the works of Émile Gallé (Nancy, 1846-1904), an artist considered one of the main names of French Art Nouveau and well known for his work with glass (especially what is often called “cameo glass”).

Ferdinand-style side table. Bronze, wood. Spain, period of Ferdinand VII, circa 1814-1833. Auxiliary table designed to be attached to a wall and supported by a single wooden leg, with a straight top, curved front and decorations with a strong neoclassical and French Empire influence (appliqués on the front, shape of the leg, composition). In Spain, the Ferdinandino Style is known as the style that can be found in the decorative arts during the reign of Ferdinand VII (1814-1833), after the Empire Style and just before the Isabelline Style, being equivalent according to some experts to the French Restoration style and the English Regency.

Louis XV style armchair frame made of beech wood. The four cabriole legs are carved with plant motifs and a line that extends along the waist, decorated with the same type of elements. The arms, set back, curve towards the front. The backrest, of the “à la queen” type, is finished with a small crest. The curved lines that characterise both the profile of the piece of furniture and its decoration on the arms, backrest and waist are characteristic of the style known in France as Louis XV (Rococo). Bronze sculpture. “Girl with goat”. Inspired by models by Affortunato Gory (1895-1925). Lost wax casting. Marble base. The girl sits with her legs stretched out in front of her and reaches out with her arms to grab the goat's horns, which is shown in a fighting attitude. It is based on the work "The Girl and the Goat" by Affortunato Gory, an Italian sculptor trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence with Augusto Rivalta who moved to Paris at the beginning of the 20th century to complete his training with Antoine Basset. His work is characterized by the frequent themes of young women, children and some historical figures and by the combination of marble with bronze and ivory in some of his works.

Ashtray. Silver (.833) in its colour. Porto, Portugal, 1938-1984. With contrast marks. Ashtray with two silver supports in its colour, decorated with a series of vegetal and architectural elements of Rococo influence (note the arched shape of the wide area), but with an arrangement that follows neoclassical models of the 19th century. This combination of styles was common in 19th century European silverware, and remained popular afterwards. The hallmarks on it place its manufacture in Oporto (Portugal), and date it between 1938 and 1984, indicating the metal's fineness (.833). Weight: 225 grams.

Mirror. Silver-plated metal, glass. Circa 1900. Rectangular mirror with a pointed top decorated with a frame that features a band of pearls on the inside and smooth areas highlighted with rectangular elements that have plant motifs on the inside; the wider base features a kneeling lady inside a garland of flowers that extends to the sides of the piece in abundant bouquets. The curved lines and the prominence of the female figure are two details that link the mirror with Modernism.
