Marble and hard stone tabletop in console format. Empire style. The shape of the board makes it more suitable for use on a console, while the simple decoration based on geometric shapes and marked symmetry can be considered influenced by the French Empire style and is reminiscent of the sample books that were sometimes made by the main European workshops working with hard stones to show the veins and colors of the materials they used, following a technique very similar to wood inlay, in their work since the 16th century.

Oval plate in carved white marble. “Children of the courtship of Dionysus.” The three children sit on a meadow. One holds a branch with bunches of grapes and vine leaves; The second puts an arm around his shoulder, and holds a glass; The third joins his hands while looking at his companions. Marble sculpture inspired by the characteristic portrait busts of the Roman Empire. In the portrait is where Rome makes its most characteristic contribution to the tradition founded by the Greeks, a contribution that has matured much earlier than in other types of sculpture and that caused the development of sculpture in Rome to be divided into two fields, with different patterns of evolution, the portrait and the other types. Since the time of the Republic, portraiture was highly valued and over time it oscillated cyclically between an idealizing classicist tendency and another of great realism, derived in part from the typical expressiveness of Hellenistic art. And among the portraits, the bust and the head were the most frequent shapes. Full-length portraits were less common, although not rare. The preference for the bust and the head is a typical Roman cultural trait that created a huge market throughout the Mediterranean basin, and is explained first, by economic reasons, being much cheaper than a complete statue, but also by the conviction of a best individual identification that prevailed among them. For the Romans, it was the head, and not the body or the costumes or accessories, that were the center of interest in the portrait.

Marble bust “Louis XIV”. Veined marble. Twentieth century. Bust of a marble knight, dressed in armor and wearing a long curly wig. The idealization, his clothing and the posture refer to examples of busts made around the court of Louis XIV (1710-1774) by artists such as Antoine Coysevox, Jean-Antoine Houdon, Warin, etc. Although the artist's mastery reflects a certain degree of individuality in the face, it is not possible to identify it due to the lack of elements that allow it, an intentional detail that does not detract from the work.

Hand-painted enameled porcelain vase. Inspired by Neoclassical models from the Meissen and Sèvres factories. Porcelain and bronze applications. The vase shows marked influences of classical Antiquity both in its lines and in its decoration based on vegetal scrolls, garlands, strings of pearls, etc. Two scenes have been hand painted on the fronts: a Toilette and a couple in love, both in idealized landscapes. This type of work was highly appreciated in Europe, hence similar vases were made in the main porcelain factories. This case has many similarities with productions by Sèvres and Meissen.

Miracle of Saint Peregrino Laziosi. Oil on canvas. Spanish school, 18th century.
Oil on canvas showing a man surrounded by angels and sitting on a cloud next to the crucified Christ, who touches the wound in the man's leg. Below, there is a cartouche with an inscription alluding to the identity of the monk and the moment it is shown. Saint Peregrino Laziosi or San Pellegrino da Fortí (1665/66-1345) was a friar of the Order of the Servants of Mary, also known as Servites. According to tradition, he developed cancer in his foot, and spent the day before his leg amputation in prayer. When he woke up, he was cured, and was therefore considered by some to be the patron saint of those afflicted by this disease. Peregrino was canonized by Pope Benedict XIII in 1726.
The composition of the present work, although not the most common on the subject, can be seen in other examples, such as Girolamo da Rocca's 1682 painting of the church of Santa Maria Annunziata in Guastalla in Italy; a painting in the Servites of Carmona (Seville); etc"

Two-leaf door with frame, and wrought iron hardware. Soria pine wood and walnut panels, wrought iron. Century XVIII. Two-leaf door with a simple frame decorated with carved walnut wood panels, thus contrasting in tone with the frame and enhancing the composition of a large rectangle interspersed with two small squares placed side by side. The frame is simple, as is usually the case with this type of pieces, and also has flanges and wrought iron fittings. The conservation of these construction elements is not common, given their purely utilitarian purpose and their replacement by more modern ones as soon as tastes change or when the old ones deteriorate.

Louis XV style desk table with “feather” marquetry. It rests on four cabriole legs with notable curvature, decorated with a golden metal band along its entire profile and a lower finish in the shape of an animal leg, made from plant motifs and seed beads. The waist has three drawers on its front in darker wood than the rest, which also appears in rectangles with a curved lower profile on the smaller sides; It is necessary to comment on the curvatures of the lower part of this area.
