Pair of oriental pharmacy cabinets. Carved and polychrome wood. Possibly China, 19th century. Both are virtually identical, featuring an upper section adorned with simple openwork geometric designs and a railing at the bottom. The body contains a series of small drawers with handles (forty-two in total), and three wider drawers below. The lower section displays carved plant motifs. This type of furniture was used (and still is today) in pharmacies and establishments of some importance specializing in Chinese medicine.

Oriental cabinet. Carved and polychrome wood, metal. Circa early 20th century. A tall cabinet made of carved wood with metal fittings, featuring a decoration with a distinctly oriental influence. The upper section has two central doors and two smaller ones on either side, positioned above two covered compartments that provide access to two shelves. Beneath the central doors is another covered compartment. Below these are four drawers and, at the bottom, another central compartment. All of these access points have doors decorated with carved scenes of Chinese influence.

Oriental sideboard. Carved and polychrome wood. 19th-20th centuries. A four-legged table with a rectangular top that projects slightly from the body of the piece and a front carved in a subtle relief, clearly distinguishing each of its five drawers. The decorative motifs, color scheme, and overall appearance (with areas that seem lacquered) follow ancient Chinese examples, but it is also possible to observe particular differences from what was typical of 19th-century Chinese furniture in the West (proportions, combination of decorative techniques).

Rectangular sideboard with a plain top and a visual division at the front into two levels: three drawers on the upper level, decorated with carvings of facing dragons; four drawers on each side of two central doors (a total of eleven drawers and two doors), with the fronts highlighted by simple lines. This door provides access to two shelves. The influence of ancient Chinese examples is clear both in the decoration and in the arrangement of the furniture's elements.

Chest of drawers. Carved wood, metal. 20th century. A chest of drawers with a rectangular top decorated with lines beneath it and with simple lines on the doors and drawers. The arrangement of these elements (three drawers at the top, two doors in the center below, and two small drawers flanking them) is reminiscent of certain pieces of Chinese furniture made in the 19th century and imported to Europe due to the upper classes' taste for such exotic items.

19th century Chinese console. Painted wood. A traditional Chinese-style console table with a projecting rectangular top supported by brackets carved in the shape of cloud-like scrolls, inspired by architectural motifs. It stands on four simple legs, and beneath the top are two tiers of drawers: three below and two larger ones above, with plain fronts and shelves highlighted by moldings. Below the drawers is a decorative skirt with side scrolls similar to the brackets.

Oriental wedding basket. Plant fiber, wood and metal. China, early 20th century. A wedding basket with two hinged compartments, constructed using basketry techniques and reinforced with wooden slats and openwork metal fittings. Rectangular in shape with a separate lid, it is decorated with applied metal rosettes and delicate calligraphy on one side. This type of stacked basket, hinged by a simple system of metal pins that can be removed to separate the compartments, has been traditionally used in China and other Southeast Asian countries to hold gifts and small objects associated with wedding rituals.
