Glazed porcelain vase with an interior scene. Inspired by Sèvres models. The interplay of tones between the vase's enamel and the gold appliqués gives all the prominence to the two scenes on its fronts. These depict two interiors of a house belonging to a wealthy bourgeois family, in the manner in which such works were made in the early 19th century. The classicist elements decorating the work relate it to works from the same century by the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (France). · Size: 30x25x79 cms.
