Ashtray. Silver (.833) in its natural color. Porto, Portugal, 1938-1984. With contrast markings. Ashtray with two silver supports, decorated with a series of Rococo-influenced vegetal and architectural elements (note the scallop-like shape of the wider section), but arranged according to 19th-century Neoclassical models. This combination of styles was common in 19th-century European silverware and remained popular afterward. The hallmarks indicate its manufacture in Porto, Portugal, and date it between 1938 and 1984, specifying the metal's fineness (.833). Weight: 225 grams.
