Candlestick with triangular base. Bronze. Spain, 18th century. Bronze candlestick with a triangular base raised on three legs and enhanced with mouldings, a balustraded shaft with discs of different diameters and a top with similar decoration, right in the area used for the candle. This type of element was common in the 18th century, both in important private houses and in monasteries, convents, churches, etc., and the present work responds to a very common typology in Spain at that time.

Female figure made of tiger's eye (quartz, limonite and riebeckite, with a cat's eye or chatoyancy effect) showing a young lady, with a cloth floating over her shoulders and a flowering branch in one of her hands, and in a graceful attitude that would make one think of a dancing courtesan. It is possible that it represents Guanyin, the name given in China to Avalokitesvara bdhisattva venerated in Buddhism.

Cup, “Flora’s Dance”. Glass. Val-Saint-Lambert, Belgium, 20th century. Glass vase or goblet with a frieze depicting a dance in gold, designed by Leon Ledru; it is also linked to Metisse. Val Saint Lambert is a glass company in operation since 1826 and with headquarters in the former Seraing Abbey (Liège, Belgium). In 1825, Jean-François Deneef settled in Val Saint-Lambert with the intention of creating a crystal factory better than Baccarat's. In fact, it is highly appreciated for the quality of its products, and it has been the quality of its crystal that has brought it several awards. Weight: 2.4 kg.
